Hyderabad, June 2025: Tollywood’s rising star and Annapurna Talkies’ actress Hima Varma inaugurated the 5-day National Silk Expo 2025 at Kalinga Cultural Hall, Road No. 12, Banjara Hills. The event is being organized by Jagdishwar Hastkala.
Speaking to the media, exhibition organizer Jayesh Kumar stated, “The primary social objective of this handloom exhibition is to support traditional weavers by promoting their craft and providing a viable market for the handloom industry. Through such exhibitions, we’ve been able to establish strong demand for handloom products, even in areas where direct sales aren’t typically possible.”
The expo will run daily from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM until June 24, 2025.
